Matte Babyboom (gel) nails

Hi!

Because I didn't have much time and I liked my recent "Babyboom" gelnails quite a lot, I did this...

... I buffed them matte with a white block and tadaaa... :)

They're good to go for a couple of days! This way you can cheat a little by filing the outgrowth a bit, so it doesn't stand out that much...

Yes... I have a right hand too ;)

I  always wear "shiny" nails (topcoated) but I must say that matte nails aren't that bad :)

Do you like to wear matte nails?

Thanks for stopping by!

Babyboom (gel) nails

Hi!

I have something different to show you today...

These are my first "Babyboom" gelnails... :)
These are my natural nails covered with a couple of layers of gel. They call this "overlay".
It's a great way to strengthen your natural nails!

Babyboom nails are a sort of french manicure nails -you know; the pink and white nails which always look so clean and fresh- but with another twist this time.

The key is to fade the pink and white a bit, and to avoid to get "hard lines".
It is tough to achieve this effect with gel, but I think I managed it pretty well...
I quite liked these nails!

Here my nails are already a bit growing out.. They grow so fast! :(

And this picture is only two weeks after I did my nails... They really grow fast and need a refill...
Ah well, time for a design change! ;)

Do you like "Babyboom" nails as much as I do?

Thanks for watching!

Sparkly Neon...

Hiiiii!!

Long time no see... Busy, busy! :)

Here is my Holiday Manicure:

I'm wearing a neon pink shellac manicure with some loose glitters...

I really like this manicure, because of the pretty glitter...

I don't think I have to explain what shellac is, but in short words: it's a liquid between gel and nailpolish and has to dry in a UV or LED lamp for a couple of seconds. This gives you a manicure which will stay on without chipping and dulling, it keeps shiny until the last day of wear and you'll wear it for about 2-3 weeks.

Do you wear shellac or gelpolish?

Thanks for stopping by!

Hi!

I'm back with a review of these cute Roses Nailwraps from LadyQueen:

They are easy to apply; just put them firmly on to your clean nails and file off the excess on the tip of the nail.
Then put on your favorite topcoat, and you're good to go!

Aren't they cute? The part of the Roses has glitter in it and is a bit translucent.
I love them!

♥ Holographic neon pink gelpolish ♥

Hi!

Today I have a very nice gelpolish to show you:

This is a gelpolish called "Rainbow" and it is available in, I believe, 6 different holographic colors.

The consistency is a tad thick, but not too thick... Just about right.
Because of it's thickness it covers very well... You can get away with only one coat, but to get a brighter color, I applied two thin coats.

In The Netherlands, the weather is finally getting better and the temperature is going up.
FINALLY! Let's go bright and bold on our nails! :)

I'd really love to wear neons in summer, do you?

Until next time,

Spring Green with Kiko...

Hi!

Finally the weather in The Netherlands is getting better and the sun is finally showing up...

So I felt like a real Spring colored mani, check my nails:

This is Kiko 296; a pretty bright green, which is even more brighter in real life (my iPhone doesn't really pick up the real color).

It is a very nice and Spring-y green :)

I'm wearing two easy thin coats and man... do I love Kiko nailpolishes!
They are very opaque and very shiny! I really like them a lot!

See the brightness in this picture? It immediately reminded me at Springtime, and so does this color green!

I really like this color and I got a lot of compliments on my hands this week, haha!

Do you also like to match your mani with the seasons' colors?

Thanks for watching!

Review: LadyQueen stamping plate héhé 028

Hi!

I'm back with another review of LadyQueen.com: they have send me multiple items to review, so prepare on some more reviews of them! :)

Today I have a review about stamping plate héhé 028 (click here for the direct link):

I don't think I'll have to explain how stamping works, right? :)

For my manicure I've used a nude / skintone nailpolish from Kiko and some stamping polish from Mundo d'Unas in hard pink and turquoise.

This is the mani I've made with it:

I have used the quilt pattern on the right side of the plate.

Stamping was quite easy, the design transferred perfectly.

I can't wait to try out the other designs on this plate :)

LadyQueen offers a lot of different stamping plates and other nail art supplies. This stamping plate is now on available for $2,99 and you can find it over here.!

Don't forget to use my coupon code WEAS15 to get 15% off (it's clickable):

Do you own héhé plates? Are there any other plates you recommend?

Thanks for watching!

Review: LadyQueen Glass Foil Paper...

Hi there!

Today I have a review of LadyQueen's Glass Foil Paper...

Doesn't this look like some kind of Fairy paper? ♥

LadyQueen has send me a strip of this Glass Foil Paper to review it for them.

It's very thin foil paper with some sort of oil over it. It's very shiny and easy to cut into pieces:

After you have painted your nails with any color nailpolish (darker polishes work best), you can put the foil pieces into the wet topcoat, leave it to dry and topcoat again.

And tadaaa...

Isn't this fun to work with?
You can spice up any manicure with this pretty paper...

Shiny pieces of glass foil paper...

From different angles, the Glass Foil Paper has different colors...

Outside in the sunlight...

LadyQueen offers 5 different colors of Glass Foil Paper and they're on sale now for only $0,99!

Don't forget to use my coupon code WEAS15 to get a nice discount (it's clickable):

15% Off Code LadyQueen.com

What do you think... Are you going to try this Glass Foil Paper?

Thanks for watching!
