Guppy #12 layered with Kleancolor Chunky Holo Purple

Hi girls!

Here's the Guppy/CUDDV polish #12 again, but now layered with Kleancolor Chunky Holo Purple:

Kleancolor Chunky Holo Purple has mainly orange and green holo glitter in it.
This are two coats layered over the black Guppy (CUDDV) Sanding Fruit Extract #12 which I showed you here.

This picture shows the green holo glitters better... I ♥ the look of the glitter in this angle better.

Hmmm... I think it's nice to experiment a bit with layering, but I don't think it's really my cup of tea.

So I experimented a bit more:

Hey! See those blue glitters? I didn't notice them before...?
I mattified this manicure with two coats of China Glaze Matte Magic and tadaaa...

I probably layered a bit too much at the time, because see what happened with my ringfinger and pinky?
The polishlayers started to lift!

I like this version better then the shiny version...

But still... I don't like it enough to wear it this way. So I'm going to take it off... :)

Which version do you like more?

Thanks for watching!

Guppy Sanding Fruit Extract #12

Hi girls!

Today I want to show you a black Guppy polish:

Guppy Sanding Fruit Extract #12

This Guppy (or CUDDV) polish is actually matte after applying, but I wanted to see the shiny version right after I'd applied it. So these pictures are with two layers of Seche Vite top coat.

Guppy Sanding Fruit Extract #12 is one of those polishes which has a gritty finish. Even with two thick layers of top coat, the grittyness is still showing. The polish itself applied pretty good; it was a bit on the thick side, so next time I'll use some thinner. Hopefully it applies a bit more equal then.

It has a nice silver glitter in it, which shows up better if you'll put topcoat over it.
I now realise that it is a bit stupid of me not taking pictures of the matte version (because the polish originally  dries matte.)

I think it's an advantage that this polish is a one coater. I just ♥ one coaters!
But my overall opinion about this polish is okay, but not too special...

So I experimented a bit with layering other polishes over it...

Keep tuned for more pictures soon!

China Glaze Aquadelic + Nubar Black Polka Dots

Hiya!

I don't have much time at the moment, so this one is going to be a quick one...

Today I would like to show you my newest China Glaze: Aquadelic with my newest (and one of my coolest) glitterpolish: Nubar Black Polka Dot:

Basecolor: China Glaze Aquadelic (1 coat!)
Top: Nubar Black Polka Dot (1 coat)
No topcoat

Excuses the crappy pics; they're from my cellphone...

Hmm... yes... I ♥ them both!

Pretty combination, isn't it?

Guppy Sanding Fruit Extract Nail Polish #4

Hi girls,

I've got another Guppy polish to show you...

Original (matte)
Guppy Sanding Fruit Extract Nail Polish #4

With topcoat

Well... the application of this Guppy polish was a real pain in the ass! This polish is more sheer than the other Guppy polishes I've tried so far. So because of that, this is on some nails 3 and on some nails 4 coats.

But the result was worthy! :)

Can't say which version I like most... the matte or shiny.
The shiny version looks more appealing in the pictures, but in real life the matte version looks very nice too!

But you have to admit: if you see this picture, you can't neglect the über glitters... They are so beautiful! ♥

Meanwhile, this is my little Guppy stash:

Guppy Sanding Fruit Extract Nail Polish in #4, #12, #16 and #14...

I have two more polishes to show you... The black and the green Guppy's :)

Wanna see more swatches of these amazing polishes?

Have a great weekend!

Shiny version of Guppy Sanding Fruit Extract Nail Polish #14

Yeah, yeah... I couldn't resist (too curious) and put a layer of topcoat over Guppy Sanding Fruit Extract Nail Polish #14...

And this is how it looks like shiny:

Whooooaaa!!

Damn those glitters are so beautiful!! What a layer of topcoat can do...
It just gives it so much more depth... Don't you think?

Now I've seen both versions (matte & shiny) of this polish, I don't know which one I like most :)

What do you think about it, like the matte or the shiny version better??

Thanks for reading!
