Hi girls!

I'm so excited to tell you that I won Dashica's like, share & win giveaway on Facebook!!

My mouth literally fell open, because I've never (ever!) won anything!

Already 2 days after the announcement on Facebook, I received the prize:
Dashica's imageplates set 3 which contains 20 pretty imageplates!
WHOOHOO!!

Now let's take a look at these pretties...

The whole set...

I ♥ full nail images, so I'm very satisfied with all the images this set contains!

I also received this handy and cute case to store the imageplates in...

You can store 26 imagesplates in this case...

I already used some of the smaller images for my daughter (4) her nails. They are very detailed and picking up the images was not a problem at all. I'm very happy with this set!

Are you familiar with Dashica's Beautyshop? (She also ships internationally)

Kiko 336 - Royal Blue

Hi!

I've visited a Kiko shop in southern France on our holiday, a couple of weeks ago.
I've bought 6 really pretty polishes, and Kiko 336 is one of them...

Let's take a closer look...

Kiko 336 is a bright in-your-face royal blue which applied very easy. 2 coats give me perfect coverage.

Well... I got a lot of compliments, because I happen to have a jacket in this exact same colour and it matched perfectly together! ♥

Source: Google images

I'm actually more of a pink girl, but while I was wearing this polish I could not stop staring at my own nails... ALL THE TIME! :)

I'm glad I have 5 more polishes to test and swatch :)

Kiko is available in Europe, but unfortunately not in the country I live in (NL) :( and are often sold for €2,50 per bottle.

Do you have Kiko polishes in your stash? Do you like this colour as much as I do?

Thanks for reading!

My newest stamping plates... Yes I'm addicted!

Hi girls,

Recently I bought a couple of Born Pretty Store stamping plates, because of their nice and cute designs...

Let's take a look at the plates, shall we?

I bought this one because of the cute bows...

Isn't that lace cute?

I almost like all these designs :D

Hello Kitty...
I guess I'm her oldest fan *blush*

You can never have enough animalprints, can you? :D

Love the flower designs...

Aaaand more lace...

... some more lacey-designs :)

Ofcourse because of the Louis Vuitton-design (and also the 2 cute heart images)

Lace, animal print, flowers... *sigh*

These angled images are so cute!

I ♥ roses too...

Curly wurly designs... I ♥ them!

Aaahhh Aztec and the triangle-design!!!

I've actually tried only one plate, and that's probably the plate with the smallest designs: QA25 (click here).
So your nails have to be a bit shorter to fit them well.

These plates are available at Born Pretty Store for $2,99 each, but some of them are on sale now for $1,99 or $0,99!

And... what do you think about these plates? Do you have Born Pretty imageplates in your stash?

China Glaze Textured Unrefined

Hi girls,

Today I'm wearing China Glaze Unrefined from the Textured collection...

I really like textured nailpolishes... I also have two textured polishes from Barry M (click here), but this polish has a bit more of a gritty texture than the Barry M polishes have. Their texture is a bit more fine...

I actually really like Unrefined because I like this texture better than Barry M's because it's a bit more rough...

And the colour is awesome! I'm a real girly-girl and a pink-lover ♥

I'm wearing two coats here with ofcourse no topcoat to keep it gritty and matte...

Recently, I bought a couple more textured polishes from OPI en Essence, which I will swatch later.

What are your thoughts of textured/sanding polishes? Do you like them or not?

Thanks for watching!

Review: Born Pretty Store stamping plate QA25

Hi!

That's a long time ago... I don't know why exactly, but I just felt not like blogging lately...

But here I am with a nail stamping post, yeeeyy! Also long, long time ago since I posted about stamping!

I've bought a lot of nailplates from Born Pretty Store lately, and I tested one out recently...

My zebra nails

QA25, I believe it stands for Quilty Addition, is a plate with 5 animalprint designs.
This is one of the plates I recently bought. What I didn't noticed, was that these 5 images are a bit smaller then the full nail images on the other QA-plates which I already own.

Ah well... There's only one solution to make them fit my nails: cut them! SHORT!

What I did:
♥ 1 layer of my favorite basecoat: Orly Nailtrition
♥ 2 coats of OPI Bride's Bouquet
♥ 1 coat of Seche Vite topcoat
♥ Black no brand-polish from "Action" + QA25 zebra design
♥ 1 coat of Seche Vite topcoat

As you can see on the picture above, the design is -despite the fact that I cut my nails real short- still too little/narrow to fit my thumb :(

The polish that I used is actually no stamping polish, but it is opaque enough to stamp with.
Unfortunately the design is not as crisp as I expected it to be, but the polish was worth trying :)

Next time I'll try a better polish to stamp with.

I'm not really used to designs that are that obvious as this is, so I didn't wore this manicure very long...

This stampingplate is available at Born Pretty Store.com for $2,99 but it is currently on sale for $1,99.

Do you already have some of the QA-plates in your stash?

Thanks for watching!
