BabyBoom nails...

Hi!

One of the most pretty manicures -in my opinion-, are the BabyBoom nails...

Back in the old days, we wore French Manicures very often, which were always suitable for all kinds of occasions. Now the hard french lines are passed and the BabyBoom nails have taken their place.

BabyBoom Nails are "the New French Nails", they are just as 'clean and fresh' with their pretty pink and white colors, but the lines have faded and are much softer.

There are different ways to achieve this look. You can use gel, acrylics, polygel, gelpolish, pigments, gelpaints and even an airbrush.

I like the look of these sets... I think it looks chique and fresh and it matches probably everything. You can wear this with an evening dress, but it also suits sneakers and jeans; that's very handy!

Do you like to wear BabyBoom nails?

Matte, Drops, Stamping, Sugar & Foil ...

Hi y'all!

My friend Linsey wanted something different but not too crazy with all sorts of colors...

So we came up with this:

Nude gelpolish over gelnails... Matte with drops - some stamped snowflakes - a sugar nail - and some rose gold foil...

What do you think about this set?

Review: Cover pink coffins...

Hi!

I changed my nails after filing them short, I wanted them long again, so I made these nude coffins with a new nude builder gel, let's take a closer look at the set:

I made this set with Lenks Cover Pink UV/LED Builder Gel  and I fell in love with this color immediately.

It's a very nice gel to work with, doesn't has heat spikes in the lamp and it levels and evens out very easy and pretty. I really loved working with this gel!

Isn't this a very pretty and natural cover pink?

A picture in different lighting...

And a picture to show how nice and thin you can work with this gel...

You can buy Lenks products at Lenks.eu, they offer a wide range of gels, acrylics, gelpolishes and other nailsupplies!

Hope you liked this post!

Neon Pink Holiday Nails...

Hellooo!!

Today I have a post about this cute bright Neon Pink gelpolish:

I am SUCH a sucker for pinks!

I can't help it, even now I'm considered to be a grown up, I still ♥ pink!

I kept my nails really simple, because I went on a Summer Holiday to Tuscany in Italy, and I was planning to swim and sunbathe a lot, so rhinstones, stickers, chromes etc. are not the best idea then.

These are my nails 3 weeks later...
Still shiny, but they have discolored a bit, below you can see the difference...

:)

See?

This is the result of using Sunscreen lotion, swimming in chlorinated water and salt seawater and a lot of sun rays :)

Ah well, time for the next refill!

What did you wear on your nails during your Summer Holiday?

Thanks for stopping by,
Until next time!

My 1st Colorboom (colorful BabyBoom)

Hiiii!!

Today I have my first Colorboom to show to you! A Colorboom is a BabyBoom with a color instead of the usual pink and white :)

I have used a Fibergel from the Dutch brand "LoveNess
and a gelpolish from the Dutch brand "Quida" to achieve this look...

It's not perfect yet, but I was quite satisfied for this first time :)

Do you like the BabyBoomer trend?

Until next time,

Glittery pink with sugar

Hiiii...

I ♥ pink, so here is a new set of pink nails!

This is a bright crème gelpolish over gelnails. I have used mermaid powder here. On the middlefinger I rubbed it in and on the other fingers I used it as a sugar.

I love this nailshape, but sometimes I like to switch to square or coffin shape nails...

Just when I feel like it, I'll change it again :)

Do you have a favorite nailshape?

Thanks for stopping by again!

Until next time,

Square White French Manicure...

Hi!

I felt like shortening my nails, so this time I have a short square set of French Manicure to show you...

Remember my nails from February 1st? The black French?

Well I liked that set, so this time I made them shorter, square and pink & white, with some rhinestones to spice it up a little :)

This is a set with cover gel and white gelpolish...

Though French Manicure isn't "hip and trending" anymore, it always looks clean and fresh to me.
So sometimes it is nice to wear something other then a full colour set :)

Do you like French Manicure or not?

Thank you for stopping by again!

Brown cateye...

Hi!

I've done my moms nails with gel & a brown cateye gelpolish...

Cateye Gelpolish is a sort of magnetic polish, which you'll use with a magnet.
The magnet sort of lifts all the magnetic particles up, and then you'll get a cateye effect.
You hold the magnet above the uncured gelpolish for a couple of seconds, and voila...
The cateye effect is there! :)

Have you ever used Cateye Gelpolish?

Thanks for watching!

All nude... (with polygel)

Hiii!!

Today I have a NUDE set of nails to show you...

Just natural, because sometimes that can be very pretty too!

This is a set of gelnails, done with the Polygel from PrinzYes.

A geloverlay on natural nails. PrinzYes cover pink in the color Olymp has a beautiful natural pink color.

I think this color is pretty on itself, so it needed no gelpolish...

I ♥ nude nails!

Do you like to wear nude nails too?

Thanks for watching!

Black French Manicure (with polygel)

Hi!

Guess who's back, back, back... Back again... :)

Today I have a whole new manicure to show you... Prepare... They are SHORT! :)

These shorties witch Black French Manicure are done with PrinzYes; a new sort of gel (Polygel) which is some sort of mix between acrylic and gel. Very nice to work with!

The French is hand drawed with Black gelpolish...

This was my first time working with this new product, so it took me a bit longer then usual, but I really liked the outcome...

Then I went on a Holiday, with lots of Sun, Sea, Swimmingpool-water and sunscreenlotion...
So the pictures down here are 3 weeks later!

There is a bit coloration because of the sun and chlorinated water, but they look still shiny and ok!

Here you can see the difference:

Overall it was a hard test, all the sun, sunscreen lotion, chlorinated water etc. but I think PrinzYes passed the test. I was quite suprised about it and I love to use this product in the future!

Have you tried any of the new Polygels yet?

Thanks for watching!

My favorite ♥PINK♥

Hiiiii!

It might be a bit bright for this time of year, but hey: Pink is always a good color to wear, right?

This time I've shortened my nails a bit, did a gel refill and painted them with one of my favorite gelpolishes in this bright NEON PINK color... Don't you just LOVE this color? ♥

I'm in ♥ with this beautiful creamy crème finish NEON PINK...

Do you always wear season appropriate colors, or are you just like me, and wear whatever you like, whenever you like?

Thanks for watching!
