China Glaze Textured Unrefined

Hi girls,

Today I'm wearing China Glaze Unrefined from the Textured collection...

I really like textured nailpolishes... I also have two textured polishes from Barry M (click here), but this polish has a bit more of a gritty texture than the Barry M polishes have. Their texture is a bit more fine...

I actually really like Unrefined because I like this texture better than Barry M's because it's a bit more rough...

And the colour is awesome! I'm a real girly-girl and a pink-lover ♥

I'm wearing two coats here with ofcourse no topcoat to keep it gritty and matte...

Recently, I bought a couple more textured polishes from OPI en Essence, which I will swatch later.

What are your thoughts of textured/sanding polishes? Do you like them or not?

Thanks for watching!

Review: Born Pretty Store stamping plate QA25

Hi!

That's a long time ago... I don't know why exactly, but I just felt not like blogging lately...

But here I am with a nail stamping post, yeeeyy! Also long, long time ago since I posted about stamping!

I've bought a lot of nailplates from Born Pretty Store lately, and I tested one out recently...

My zebra nails

QA25, I believe it stands for Quilty Addition, is a plate with 5 animalprint designs.
This is one of the plates I recently bought. What I didn't noticed, was that these 5 images are a bit smaller then the full nail images on the other QA-plates which I already own.

Ah well... There's only one solution to make them fit my nails: cut them! SHORT!

What I did:
♥ 1 layer of my favorite basecoat: Orly Nailtrition
♥ 2 coats of OPI Bride's Bouquet
♥ 1 coat of Seche Vite topcoat
♥ Black no brand-polish from "Action" + QA25 zebra design
♥ 1 coat of Seche Vite topcoat

As you can see on the picture above, the design is -despite the fact that I cut my nails real short- still too little/narrow to fit my thumb :(

The polish that I used is actually no stamping polish, but it is opaque enough to stamp with.
Unfortunately the design is not as crisp as I expected it to be, but the polish was worth trying :)

Next time I'll try a better polish to stamp with.

I'm not really used to designs that are that obvious as this is, so I didn't wore this manicure very long...

This stampingplate is available at Born Pretty Store.com for $2,99 but it is currently on sale for $1,99.

Do you already have some of the QA-plates in your stash?

Thanks for watching!

*  I purchased this stampingplate with my own money. *

OPI You're Such A Budapest + Born Pretty Store Glitter Stars

Hi!

The last couple of days I've been wearing a polish from the Europe Collection from OPI:

You're Such A Budapest
You're Such A Budapest is a lilac periwinkle shade. At first I planned on using it when my hands got a little bit more tanned, but I just couldn't wait, so I used it right away :)

Only thing is... I can't remember if I put on two or three coats...

Then, a couple of days later, my order from Born Pretty Store arrived :)
I ordered some falsh lashes and some glitter star stickers in silver:

You'll get 12 sheets for only $5,99! They adhere perfectly and with a decent coat of topcoat over it, they stayed on for more than 8 days! Great quality it is... The only downside is that they don't remove very well.
I use lint free nailwipes and had to use much pressure and nailpolish remover to get the stickers off.
Nevertheless are they cute and worth it!

I liked this manicure that much that I wore it for over a week.

My nailroutine is:
♥ Orly Nailtrition (1 coat)
♥ Orly Bonder (1 coat)
♥ OPI You're Such A Budapest (2 of 3 coats)
♥ INM Out The Door (1 coat, and later after applying the stickers another coat on ringfingers and thumb)

How long do you wear your manicure most of the time?

Thanks for watching!

China Glaze VII

Hi!

Here I'm wearing an older polish from China Glaze, called VII from the Anniversary X Collection of 2007.

 China Glaze VII

VII is a brownish dark plum colour which sometimes (in some lighting) looks deep brown. I find it very classy. I'm wearing two coats here but if you're careful enough you can get away with one coat; it's very opaque. I also ♥ the fact that it is very glossy. Even after wearing it for a week it stays glossy!
How it that possible!?

I recently ordered VII with 50% discount (for about €3) and I really love this polish!

Although is is springtime in the Netherlands, the sun doesn't show up much and that's the reason I've painted my nails in a way darker colour than I normally would in this time of year.

Are you wearing springcolours yet?

Thanks for stopping by!

Golden Rose Jolly Jewels # 110

Hi girls!

Last week I bought a bunch of new nailpolishes which I will show you all soon...

Today I'm wearing this happy polish:

Golden Rose Jolly Jewels # 110

Jolly Jewels # 110 is a white milky based glitter polish with red metallic hexagons and small blue glitters.

I ♥ it!

The Jolly Jewels collection from Golden Rose contains 17 (!!) bottles of happy, festive glitterpolishes!
Aren't they cute?

I got myself two of these cuties; # 110 and # 115, which I will show you later.

Application was simple: two thin coats were enough to get an even and opaque look.

What do you think about these polishes? Do you have them in your stash?

Thanks for watching!

Barry M Textured Nail Paint Part I

Hi!

Today I'm wearing one of my 2 recently bought Textured Nail Paints from Barry M...

This is Kingsland Road.

Kingsland Road is a baby pink polish which applies a bit tricky. The polish is on the thinner side and a bit sheer so because of that it needs at least two decent coats. This polish dries matte and structured and feels very strange and rough (dohh!) :) The downside of this polish is that it dries very slowly, that's why I have a dent on my pointerfinger :(

From left to right: Atlantic Road - Station Road - Kingsland Road - Ridley Road

I also have Ridley Road, the mintgreen one, which I will show you soon...

You can buy the Barry M Textured Nail Paints for €5,34 at AliceJo.com.

What do you think about these Textured nailpolish?

Thanks for stopping by!

Partially sponged neon manicure...

Hi!

Today I have a quick post for you about a manicure I saw at Pinterest...

For this manicure I've used the following polishes:

☆ Essence - Icy Princess
☆ Color Club - Where's The Soirèe
☆ Catrice - You Better Think Pink
I've painted half my nails with YBTP and the other half with Icy Princess (both 2 coats).
I sponged Color Club WTS to create a sort of line with a piece of kitchensponge and there you got it...!

I like this manicure pretty much...

What do you think about this manicure? Would you wear it yourself?

Thanks for stopping by!
